Paxos Announces Hiatus of Services in Canada

We at Paxos have suspended services for customers in Canada. This includes any trading or investing through our platform, as well as the use of Paxos’s cryptocurrency services.

The decision to suspend services was made due to the complexity of regulations and legal requirements in Canada. We are committed to working closely with Canadian regulatory authorities on a path forward to re-enter the region. As part of this, we’ll be monitoring any updates from Canadian regulators closely.

At this time, Paxos Customer Care is available for customers who have inquiries about their account including trading and open orders, deposits into accounts, withdrawals from accounts, and ethereum balances.
