Bitcoin Price Now Features In China’s TikTok Version - Douyin

We have been witnessing the importance of Bitcoin price in the global population. Recently, to further endorse its importance, a Chinese app called Douyin has added Bitcoin price in its content list. Douyin is basically a Chinese version of the popular video-sharing app TikTok.

Douyin is part of the massive ByteDance network. It has great user traction across the digital platform. The addition of Bitcoin price has marked as a big milestone for cryptocurrency adoption.

If we look at the recent past, China wasn’t that receptive towards cryptocurrency. Even when Bitcoin prices surged and set a new all-time high several times this year, there wasn’t much reaction from China.

However, now, it looks like things have changed for good. Chinese market regulators have started to respond positively towards cryptocurrency. Also, some reports suggest that there are initiatives from the government side to launch a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

It will be interesting to see how this move by Douyin will help in bringing more attention towards Bitcoin price and eventually as a mainstream medium of payment.
